Sur-Ron services

• First Service: £60, at 300 km or 3 months

• Basic Service: £90, every 6 months

• Full Service: £150, every 12 months or 1,000 km

• Premium Service: £240, every 2 years

 

First Service: £60. New Sur-Rons loosen up in the first few hundred kilometres. We re-torque every bolt to the manual, tension the spokes, set the chain and brakes, and read any fault codes.

 

Basic Service: £90. Safety check of frame, forks, wheels and tyres. Chain cleaned, lubed and tensioned, brakes adjusted and pads checked, bolts and spokes checked, diagnostic scan, and a wash.

 

Full Service: £150. Everything in Basic, plus both brakes bled, headset, swingarm, linkage and wheel bearings checked for play, battery health check, wiring and connectors checked, and a full valet.

 

Premium Service: £240. Everything in Full, plus the swingarm, linkage and headset bearings stripped, cleaned and regreased. Worn bearings are replaced at extra cost, and we ask first.

 

Why ours are different: other Sur-Ron workshops charge extra for brake bleeds and cleaning. Our Full and Premium services include both.

Parts are extra unless stated. Prices are estimates because every bike comes in a different condition, and seized bolts or worn parts can add time. We'll always contact you before doing any extra work.

We stock Sur-Ron brake pads, foot pegs and common wear parts, and can often fit them while you wait. Call 01302 459200 to check stock.

 

FAQ

How often should my Sur-Ron be serviced? Sur-Ron's schedule is a first service at 300 km or 3 months, then 1,000 km or 6 months, 2,000 km or 12 months, and every 1,000 km or 12 months after that. Riding in mud or wet weather wears chains, pads and bearings faster.

 

Will servicing with you keep my warranty? Sur-Ron warranty claims go through the dealer you bought from and need a record of services done on schedule. We're an independent workshop, not a Sur-Ron dealer, but we stamp your service book and give you an itemised invoice every time, so you have the record.

 

Do you derestrict or tune Sur-Rons? We don't derestrict road-legal (L1e) Sur-Rons or Talarias. Off-road models are for private land only.

 

How long does it take? It depends on the service and the parts needed. We'll give you a time when you book in, and keep you updated if we're waiting on parts.
