Bike servicing

• Service on assessment: Free. We check the bike and quote before any work

• Basic Service (30 checks): £50, every 6 months

• Standard Service (40 checks): £110, every 12 months

What's included

Basic Service: £50 (30 checks)

We get your bike running as well as it can with the parts it has.

• Safety check of frame, forks, wheels, tyres and all bolts, torqued to spec

• Gears indexed and adjusted

• Brakes adjusted, with basic parts such as brake pads fitted if needed (parts extra)

• Wheels checked and spun true where needed

• Headset, bottom bracket and hub bearings checked and adjusted

• Chain checked for wear, cleaned and lubed

• Tyres inflated to the right pressure

• Wipe-down and standard clean

 

Standard Service: £110 (40 checks)

Everything in Basic, plus:

• Full valet, so it goes home looking as good as it rides

• All fluids and cables included. New gear and brake cables fitted where needed

• Hydraulic brake bleed and piston service

• Drivetrain deep clean and degrease (chain, cassette, chainrings, mechs)

• Wheels trued and spoke tension balanced

• Bearings adjusted and regreased where serviceable

 

Premium Service: £200 (44 checks)

Our most complete service. Everything in Standard, plus:

• Full strip-down and rebuild of the bike

• Headset, bottom bracket and hub bearings cleaned and regreased, or replaced if worn (parts extra)

• Every component cleaned, inspected and refitted to torque spec

• Full valet, all fluids and cables, brake bleed and piston service included

 

Why our services are different: most shops charge extra for cables, brake bleeds and cleaning. From Standard upwards ours include all fluids and cables, a brake bleed and piston service, and a full valet.

 

E-bike servicing

• Electric Basic Service: £60, every 6 months

• Electric Intermediate Service: £120, every 12 months

• Electric Premium Service: £220, every 18–24 months

Each e-bike service covers everything in the matching bike service (Basic, Standard or Premium), plus:

• Diagnostic scan of the motor system, with any error codes read and cleared

• Software and firmware update where available

• Battery health check, and battery and motor contacts cleaned and protected

• Motor mounting bolts, wiring and connectors checked

• Display, lights and sensors tested

 

E-bike repairs and diagnostics

We repair motor faults, battery problems, error codes, displays and sensors on Bosch, Shimano and Bafang systems, plus most hub-motor bikes and Surron.

If your e-bike won't turn on, shows an error code or has lost range, book a diagnostic. We'll tell you what's wrong and what it will cost before we do any work. Some electrical faults need parts from the manufacturer, and we'll keep you updated while we wait for them.

FAQ

How long does it take? Every job is different, but as a guide: punctures are fixed while you wait, most basic repairs are done the same day, and servicing takes between 2 days and a week. E-bike electrical faults sometimes need parts ordering from the manufacturer, and we'll keep you updated if we're waiting on a delivery.

 

Do you repair bikes bought elsewhere or online? Yes, any make and model, including e-bikes.

 

Can you fix my e-bike battery? Often, yes. We test capacity (£15), diagnose faults (£25), replace battery management boards (£120) and quote for other battery repairs after assessment.
