E-bike FAQs
Do I need a licence or insurance? No. In the UK, an e-bike with pedal assist up to 15.5mph and a motor of 250W or less is treated like a normal bicycle. You must be 14 or over to ride one.
How far will it go? Most of our e-bikes manage 25 to 60 miles a charge. It depends on the battery size, assist level, hills and rider weight.
Can you service an e-bike I bought elsewhere? Yes. Our e-bike services start at £60, and diagnostics at £25.
