Machined aluminium cups thread directly into a T47 bottom bracket shell.
    
Bearings are easily serviced or replaced.
    
T47 cups are similar to standard BSA threaded cups, with the drive-side cup using a left-hand thread and the non-drive-side cup using a right-hand thread.
    
Use a quality grease when installing in steel or aluminium bottom bracket shells, and an anti-seize compound compatible with titanium bottom bracket shells.
