The Zone is an electric hybrid designed for easy riding around towns and cities. A low-maintenance single-speed drivetrain is paired with five levels of rear hub power assist for flat ground and hills, and the slim lockable battery sits inside the down tube. Puncture-protected tyres with reflective sidewall strips add reliability and visibility.
The 375Wh battery with Panasonic cells gives up to 40 miles (64km) of range and charges from empty in about 5 hours, on or off the bike, with a key lock. The Bafang rear hub motor produces 32Nm of torque, and the handlebar display shows power mode, battery level and speed. Walk assist helps when pushing up steep hills.
Cable disc brakes give dependable stopping in poor conditions, while ergonomic lock-on grips and a memory foam saddle add comfort. The aluminium crossbar frame suits riders 5'4" to 6'2" (162-188cm).
