Mavic Ceramic bearings with ultimate control
Each component is validated on in-house machines capable of 57 different tests before a second round confirms the performance of the fully assembled wheel. Every detail of the hub has been redesigned for marginal gains: 40-tooth ratchets, optimised freewheeling spring, Mavic ceramic bearings, a more aerodynamic hub shell, lighter hub bodies and Locked-In Spoke Heads to stabilise spoke tension over time.
FORE Technology: When performance meets ease of use
Mavic's FORE technology creates a strong, precise connection between the rim and the spokes by screwing them directly into the rim at an optimal angle, eliminating unwanted movement and improving stiffness and long-term reliability. This is further enhanced by the Adaptive Layup construction, where strategically placed carbon reinforcements strengthen the rim while reducing its weight. By leaving the upper rim flange unpierced, this design also ensures a perfectly airtight structure, making tubeless setup faster, easier, and more reliable. The result: maximum power transfer, an optimised strength-to-weight ratio, and minimal maintenance.
